Metatron's Cube
The Geometry of the Platonic Solids
Meaning
What is
Metatron's Cube?
Metatron's Cube is built from thirteen circles, each joined to the others by straight lines. Within this network you can see the flat projection of several Platonic solids, such as the cube and the tetrahedron. It is a geometry exercise as much as a symbol of order and structure.

History & Origin
Where does this symbol come from?
Metatron is an angelic figure of Jewish mysticism. The Hebrew Book of Enoch presents him as Enoch transfigured into the heavenly scribe. The name "Metatron's Cube" given to this figure, however, is modern: it spread with contemporary sacred geometry.
